This color temperature mired converter turns a positive value in kelvin, mired, reciprocal megakelvin or decamired into every other supported unit with the textbook identity mired equals one million divided by Kelvin. Reciprocal megakelvin is numerically identical to mired, and one decamired is ten mireds—the step size printed on many gel and dichroic filter sets. The engine is pure, deterministic arithmetic: same input always yields the same JSON, free in the browser or at $0.002 per successful API request with no subscription.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
