Every retailer, wholesaler, and manufacturer that keeps a perpetual or periodic inventory book eventually has to answer the same close question: after this period's purchases and this period's cost of goods sold, what value is still sitting in the warehouse? The figure is not a warehouse count. It is a closed-form identity: beginning inventory plus net purchases minus cost of goods sold. This ending inventory calculator accepts those three ledger totals, rejects any negative input, and returns the ending inventory value together with goods available for sale as the intermediate. The same pure module powers the free browser widget and the API path at $0.002 per successful call, so a controller worksheet and an automation script never disagree on rounding.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.

Published price — no tokens, no invented credits. A failed task is never charged.

Errors

HTTP	Code	Meaning
`401`	`unauthorized`	Missing or invalid API key.
`402`	`insufficient_balance`	Your balance doesn't cover the task price.
`404`	`unknown_type`	That task type doesn't exist.
`429`	`rate_limited`	Too many requests. Use the webhook instead of polling.
