A larger home may have a higher monthly bill while still using utilities more efficiently for its size. This calculator divides one monthly utility bill by the property's square footage and returns the monthly utility cost per square foot. Use it to normalize listings, rentals, operating budgets, or historical bills before comparing them. The browser calculator is free, while automated API requests cost $0.002 per successful request. Enter a non-negative monthly bill and a strictly positive area measured in square feet.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
