Coverage percent and page count drive most of the liquid or toner-equivalent volume, yet hand spreadsheets disagree on page area units, film thickness, and whether duplex doubles impressions. This print run ink usage calculator takes average coverage percent, the number of pages in the run, optional paper width and height in millimetres (A4 by default), optional ink film thickness in micrometres, and simplex or duplex sides, then returns millilitres and litres for the whole job with a stable per-impression figure. The same pure arithmetic powers the free browser widget and the prepaid API path at $0.002 per successful call, so quoting tools, MIS connectors, and landing-page demos never disagree on a multiplication result.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
