How is the refill count calculated?
The daily goal is divided by bottle capacity and rounded up to a whole number, so a partial final bottle counts.
Does the count include the first bottle of the day?
Yes. refill_count means every bottleful used toward the goal, including the first fill. To count only later trips back to the tap, subtract one from a positive result.
What units should I enter?
Enter both the daily goal and bottle capacity in milliliters. Convert other volume units before using the calculator.
Why is the result rounded up?
Any remainder requires another bottle fill to reach the goal, although you may need to drink only part of that final fill.
What happens if bottle capacity is zero or negative?
The request returns an invalid_input error because a bottle must have a positive capacity for the division to be meaningful.
Does this calculator recommend how much water I should drink?
No. It converts the goal you supply into bottlefuls; it does not determine a personal hydration target or provide medical advice.
