Enter a finite number already expressed in millions and get the equivalent in billions using the exact short-scale factor of one thousand: one billion equals one thousand million, so the engine simply divides by 1,000. There is no currency conversion, no inflation adjustment, and no long-scale milliard convention hiding behind the same English words. The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
