Multiply width by height and you have the raw pixel count; divide by one million for the megapixel marketing figure; multiply by bits per pixel and divide by eight for the framebuffer size in bytes. Game engines, embedded UI teams, kiosk designers, and cloud rendering fleets all need the same deterministic answer when sizing VRAM, choosing a display panel, or comparing Full HD against 4K and 8K. This screen resolution pixel calculator accepts width, height, and color depth, returns total pixels, megapixels, bytes per pixel, and framebuffer sizes in bytes, kibibytes, mebibytes, gibibytes, and decimal megabytes, plus a compact resolution label. When color depth is an integer between one and forty-eight it also reports how many distinct colors that depth can address. The free browser path and the paid API share the same pure module so homework demos and production scripts never disagree on a 1920×1080 at thirty-two bits figure.
