The syllabus instead assigns each category a weight—twenty percent homework, fifteen percent quizzes, twenty-five percent midterm, forty percent final—and the official grade is the weighted combination of those category scores. This weighted course grade calculator accepts a list of named categories with a percentage score from zero to one hundred and a positive weight, multiplies each score by its weight, divides by the total weight, and returns the overall weighted percentage plus a transparent contribution breakdown for every row. The arithmetic is fully deterministic, runs free in your browser, and is available over the API at $0.002 per successful request with no language model and no external gradebook service on the hot path.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.

Pricing

Published price — no tokens, no invented credits. A failed task is never charged.

Errors
